Tata Steel hikes stake in Creative Port Development

Tata Steel completed the acquisition of 38,222 equity shares of face value Rs 10/- each in Creative Port Development (CPDPL), a subsidiary of the Company, due to conversion of 25,10,830 Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (‘OCRPS') held by the Company in CPDPL in the ratio of 1 equity share of Rs 10/- each for every 65.69 number of OCRPS of Rs 100/- each, as per the terms of the issue.

Post this conversion, the Company's equity stake in CPDPL has increased by 6.5% from 51% to 57.5% and CPDPL continues to remain a subsidiary of the Company
