Strengthening operational synergies in the recently acquired specialty chemicals company Kronox Lab Sciences, Indo Borax & Chemicals has appointed Suresh Kalra as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and  Shashikant Bharuka as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel at Kronox.

The leadership transition follows the completion of the acquisition of a 64.26% stake in Kronox Lab Sciences on 29 September, by Indo Borax & Chemicals recently. The move marks a new phase in the Company's growth following the completion of the change in shareholding. 

Kalra has been appointed as Managing Director and CEO for a period of five years. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the chemicals industry, he brings extensive expertise across global operations, P&L management, manufacturing, strategic planning and international business expansion across India, the US, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
