Among the other constituents of the index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd decreased 0.34% and ICICI Bank Ltd lost 0.2% on the day. The BSE BANKEX index went up 17.49 % over last one year compared to the 8.21% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
