Oct 28,2026
Revenue from operations rose 15.84% year on year to Rs 78,749.94 crore from Rs 67,983.53 crore. International revenue stood at Rs 45,870 crore, accounting for 58% of total revenue.

EBITDA increased 0.57% year on year to Rs 6,845 crore from Rs 6,806 crore. However, the EBITDA margin declined to 8.7% from 10% a year earlier.

Profit before tax rose 20.60% year on year to Rs 7,641.06 crore from Rs 6,336.11 crore.

Total operational expenses increased 18% year on year to Rs 71,905 crore. Finance costs fell 37.99% to Rs 473 crore, while depreciation and amortisation expense declined 5.04% to Rs 1,037 crore.

The company secured orders worth Rs 1,47,665 crore during the quarter, up 28% year on year. International orders accounted for Rs 92,375 crore, or 63% of total order inflows. Its consolidated order book stood at Rs 8,53,514 crore as of 30 September 2026, up 15% from March 2026, with international orders accounting for 54%.

Larsen & Toubro chairman and managing director S N Subrahmanyan said strong execution across the Projects, Products and Manufacturing businesses supported revenue growth and record quarterly order inflows. He noted that the company's record order book of Rs 8.5 lakh crore provides multi-year revenue visibility. He added that L&T would continue investing in innovation, digital capabilities and technology-led businesses to sustain growth and create long-term value.

Larsen & Toubro said India's economy maintained strong growth momentum in the first half of FY27, supported by domestic demand, capital expenditure and services activity. However, inflationary pressures, geopolitical conflicts, trade uncertainties and elevated energy prices remain key risks. The company noted that the RBI expects India's GDP to grow 7.1% in FY27. L&T said it would continue to focus on operational excellence, technology adoption, productivity and competitiveness to support sustainable long-term growth.

Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational operating across engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), high-tech manufacturing, products and services. The company focuses on technology, artificial intelligence, customer-centric solutions and quality across its businesses.
