Among the other constituents of the index, HFCL Ltd increased 1.45% and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd added 0.93% on the day. The BSE Telecommunication index went up 33.06 % over last one year compared to the 4.19% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Bharti Airtel Ltd has lost 5.75% over last one month compared to 3.87% gain in BSE Telecommunication index and 1.41% drop in the SENSEX.
