Adani Power Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 175.91, down 5.05% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 1.24% on the day, quoting at 22406.15. The Sensex is at 72534.84, down 0.98%.Adani Power Ltd has eased around 11.82% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Adani Power Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 8.94% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35101.45, down 3.08% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 283.25 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 215.9 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 175.76, down 4.89% on the day. Adani Power Ltd jumped 4.88% in last one year as compared to a 13.14% slide in NIFTY and a 4.51% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 29.78 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
