Power Grid Corporation of India has approved the proposal for implementation of “Augmentation of 1x500 MVA, 400/220kV ICT (3rd) at Thrissur VSC HVDC Station in Kerala”, at an estimated cost of Rs 173.14 crore, scheduled to be commissioned by 21 August 2027.
