While the company's total domestic sales rose by 12.9% to 151,606 units, exports declined by 2.63% to 26,477 units in May 2023 over May 2022.
“The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles. The company took all possible measures to minimise the impact,” the auto maker said in a statement.
Maruti Suzuki India is engaged in the manufacture, purchase and sale of motor vehicles, components, and spare parts (automobiles).
The auto major's standalone net profit surged 42.67% to Rs 2,623.6 crore on 20.8% rise in net sales to Rs 30,821.8 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
The scrip shed 0.01% to currently trade at Rs 9,356.75 on the BSE.
