Ambuja Cements board approves acquisition of 26% in SWE Renewables

The board of Ambuja Cements at its meeting held on 29 October 2026 has approved acquisition of 26% equity shares of SWE Renewables.

The objective of the proposed acquisition is to optimise the Company's electricity cost and increase the share of renewable energy in its overall energy mix by procuring wind power through a captive structure.
