Bosch posts nearly 37% YoY fall in Q1 PAT
Aug 11,2026

Revenue for the period under review was Rs 5841.90 crore. The growth in revenue was driven by higher demand in passenger cars and off-highway segment

Total operating expenditure rose by 21% to Rs 5,020.80 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q1 FY26, primarily due to higher raw material costs (up 37.5% YoY) and higher purchases of finished goods (up 33.7% YoY).

Profit before tax in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 941.80 crore, down 32.4% from Rs 1,393.80 crore in Q1 FY26.

Guruprasad Mudlapur, president of the Bosch Group in India, and managing director, Bosch, said: 'Our business performance in the first quarter is driven by sustained demand across segments, particularly in passenger cars and commercial vehicles along with increased sales in key product categories.

The last quarter was marked with significant announcements for us, including the acquisition of Bosch Chassis Systems to expand our safety and braking portfolio and our joint venture with the TSF Group (Brakes India and Wheels India) for advanced commercial vehicle air systems.'

Bosch is a leading supplier of technology and services in the areas of mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology.
