Wholesale price inflation on the accelerated mode

All India Wholesale Price Index (WPI) inflation for July 2026 is 9.78% year-on-year (YoY), slightly down from 9.87% in June 2026. The index for All Commodities is at 110.0 in July, down from 110.2 the previous month. YoY inflation rates for key groups are 8.52% for Primary Articles, 20.05% for Fuel and Power, and 8.29% for Manufactured Products, compared to 7.0%, 27.41%, and 7.48%, respectively, in June. The indices for these groups are 117.2, 105.4, and 108.4 in July, compared to 116.1, 111.1, and 107.8 in June. Major contributors to WPI inflation include Mineral Oils, Food Articles, and various manufactured products. The Food Index showed a YoY inflation of 6.65% in July, up from 6.14% in June.
