Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Macrotech Developers Ltd (up 1.86%), Sobha Ltd (up 1.44%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 1.08%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.76%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Brigade Enterprises Ltd (up 0.56%), Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.44%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.44%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.23%).

At 09:44 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 204.79 or 0.31% at 65740.68.

The Nifty 50 index was down 54.3 points or 0.28% at 19610.4.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 149.83 points or 0.4% at 37374.83.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 44.07 points or 0.39% at 11225.76.

On BSE,1434 shares were trading in green, 1239 were trading in red and 141 were unchanged.
