In other indices, Nifty Commodities index gained 0.69% and Nifty Infrastructure index gained 0.65% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.32% to close at 24620.2 while the SENSEX increased 0.32% to close at 80998.25 today.
