Power Mech Projects Ltd consolidated sales down 23.07% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tanked by 41.77%

Power Mech Projects Ltd share price slipped 0.10% to Rs 2613.65 after the company's net profit plunged by 41.77% to Rs 89.33 crore, while revenue from operations nosedived 23.07% to Rs 1623.68 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.61 lakh crore, slipping 6.61%. It has inched up 2.14% over last one week and softened by 2.18% in last one month while the market capitalization of Power Mech Projects Ltd has marginally improved by 1.84% and 0.45% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Power Mech Projects Ltd stood at Rs 126.38 crore in Q2 FY26, declining 6.79% year-on-year, and plunging by 32.30% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 159 crore, slipping 0.62% YoY and nosediving by 26.87% sequentially. Total expenses slumped by 22.35% to Rs 1479.36 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 169.14 crore, slumping by 42.10% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 215.12 crore, seeing a marginal contraction of 0.68% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 24.43% to Rs 5234.14 crore, while net profit soared by 39.92% to Rs 347.55 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 47907% to Rs 558.8 crore, and PBT soared 28.50% to Rs 491.24 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 0.74 crore in FY26, as against Rs 204.6 crore in FY25. Power Mech Projects Ltd crashed 17.53% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.63% during the same period.
