Central Bank of India secures credit rating upgrades from CRISIL Ratings Limited

Central Bank of India announced upgrades to its credit ratings from CRISIL Ratings Limited, as detailed in a regulatory filing. CRISIL Ratings Limited upgraded the Corporate Credit Rating to AA+ Stable, previously AA/Stable, and also upgraded the rating on Tier II Bonds under Basel III (INE483A08049) to AA+ Stable, previously AA/Stable. Additionally, the rating for Proposed Tier I Bonds under Basel III (amounting to Rs 1000 Crore) was upgraded from AA- /Stable to AA Stable, while the rating for Proposed Certificate of Deposits (amounting to Rs 10000 Crore) was reaffirmed as A1+ with no outlook. The rating agency verified all ratings on August 4, 2026.
