Agri Commodities Review: Chana And Mustard Steady On Renewed Buying
12-Jun-19   17:42 Hrs IST

Strong demand continued in chana and mustard seed commodities due to limited supplies. However, weakness was seen in wheat due to supply pressure in local mandies. In today's trading, the NCDEX chana June futures added 0.90 percent as traders are expecting decline in sowing acreage in major producing states such as Karnataka and Rajasthan. Strong buying interest was also seen in guarseed counter in today's trading as most of the speculators are expecting recovery in guar gum exports in the current season. The NCDEX Guarseed June settled at Rs 4191 per quintal, up 0.80 percent from last close. On the other side, selling was seen in soyabean market as prices declined today due to bearish nodes from international market along with weak demand by domestic millers.
